TIM's new communications campaign is a tribute to connections, which become human relationships and help us to get closer, to overcome distances, to find strength and motivation to realise increasingly ambitious projects.
The launch involved the main Italian newspapers, which on 14 June featured graphic as iconic as it is simple: two hands clasped together to represent sharing, harmony, and the starting point to reach a new goal, together.
From 15 June, a new piece is added. Through the eyes of Oscar-winning director Giuseppe Tornatore, to the notes of a previously unreleased piece by Oscar-winning maestro Ennio Morricone, the TV spot traces the lives and projects of two icons of Italian fashion and promoters of 'Made in Italy' excellence around the world, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. It is the connection between two very young talents that transforms ideas into reality and makes a dream come true, which is projected into the future and conquers the world.
The spot was filmed between Milan and Sicily. Starting from the typical atmosphere of the late 1950s and 1960s, it comes to the present day, revealing the strength of a human and artistic connection that, overcoming distances, has led the two protagonists to achieve exceptional goals.
"It is a point of pride for us that Giuseppe Tornatore, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, undisputed ambassadors of Italian-made products around the world, are by our side for this communications project", commented Pietro Labriola, TIM's CEO. - "With this new campaign, we want to talk about the connections that unite people, near or far, equal or different, because the real connection is the one that helps us to overcome distances and differences. TIM's task is to make sure that connections grow, develop according to the many needs and are always secure".
