TIM: Elio Schiavo joins the Group, appointed Chief Enterprise and Innovative Solutions Officer

TIM announced that Elio Schiavo will join the Group as Chief Enterprise and Innovative Solutions Officer starting from May 16, and will report to Pietro Labriola, CEO and General Manager.   

The new Chief Enterprise and Innovative Solutions Office function, which has been set up in line with the reorganisation process following the presentation of the new industrial plan, aims to expand the offer model for Enterprise customers, by integrating innovative and technologically advanced solutions (connectivity, Cloud, IoT and digital payments), fully exploiting the uniqueness and expertise of the Group’s assets.

To the Chief Enterprise and Innovative Solutions Officer will report the Chief Enterprise Market Officer and, within the scope of application of Group Regulations, the digital companies Olivetti and Noovle, while Telsy will operate in coordination with the new function.

Elio Schiavo is qualified as key manager and does not hold any company ordinary shares. His CV is attached.

Elio Schiavo worked at Apple Inc. since 2014, serving as General Manager in Latin America for the past three years (company with 60 million active customers, 500+ channels operating in 35 countries, over 10 million HW/SW sold each year, over $10 billion in revenue of which almost 25% based on multimedia services: App, Music, Gaming, TV contents, Cloud, Electronic Payments).

In the previous years at Apple Inc., he held the positions of Head of Enterprise Business and Head of Strategy for Latin America.

Prior to 2014 he has held the position of CEO in Consodata SPA, Katalog AG, Thomsonlocal.com and Telegate AG, all controlled by the Seat Pagine Gialle Group (at the time owned by Telecom Italia), operating respectively in the following sectors: Big Data and Marketing Intelligence, Digital Media company, UK yellow pages and Telco/Media company.
