TIM has joined the Cybersecurity Tech Accord, an initiative that promotes collaboration among global technology companies and pledges to enhance cybersecurity for users and networks.
By joining the initiative, the Group confirms its commitment to fighting cybersecurity threats, providing the project with the know-how of its cybersecurity experts and research and development laboratories.
With TLC and ICT operators, hardware and software developers, and OTTs as signatories, the accord resolves to create an ecosystem of technological resources and expertise. The aim is to develop protection systems capable of dealing with current and future online threats that are being faced in increasingly complex, dynamic and interdependent settings.
The Cybersecurity Tech Accord also envisages sharing useful information among partners to contrast cyber crime. It supports the adoption of new best practices and norms regarding how companies and countries behave and, more generally, how public and private entities interact.
