TIM renews its partnership with Accessibility Days, the largest national event dedicated to digital accessibility, whose title this year is "From Web to We. La Rivoluzione Accessibile" (From Web to We. The Accessible Revolution ). TIM began its journey through the world of diversity and inclusion in 2009, under the motto "Nessuno Escluso" (Nobody Excluded). Today, this path continues and identifies the company's best practices on the subject.
In the TIM Group, there are about 1,300 people with disabilities who, through the Disability Management plan, can express their talents to the fullest, with programs, tools and equipment dedicated to them. And it is the same people who are often involved in designing solutions and products for customers with their same disabilities - especially sensory and communication-related issues - levering digital technologies as a recognised tool for inclusion.
TIM will be the protagonist of the "TIM e le disabilità sensoriali" (TIM and sensory disabilities) session, where we will talk about activities dedicated to disabilities, inclusive training and the impact on the entertainment sector with TIMVISION. There will also be a workshop dedicated to TIM's people and focused on inclusion and disability issues, to provide useful tools and advice to those who deal with those topics at work.
The 8th Edition of the Accessibility Days will be held on 16 and 17 May at the Marco Polo Building of La Sapienza University of Rome, and will also be streamed online. To learn more and register to the event, click here.
