TIM, Inwit and Vodafone, in a Temporary Consortium of Enterprises, were awarded all 6 lots of the tender financed with funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), aimed at reducing the digital divide in the Country. The tender concerned granting of public subsidies under the 'Italia 5G' Plan, for construction of new network infrastructures capable of providing mobile radio services with transmission speeds of at least 150 Mbit/s in the downlink and 30 Mbit/s in the uplink.

The implementation of the investment project will include the fiber-optic backhauling and related active equipment for binding of the newly constructed mobile radio sites, and will end on 30 June 2026.

Details of the grant - which may amount to up to 90% of the costs eligible for reimbursement - awarded to the Temporary Consortium of Enterprises are shown below:
