E se cambiassi prospettiva? (What if you change your perspective?), the series of meetings led by Azzurra Rinaldi — director of the School of Gender Economics at Rome's Unitelma Sapienza University and founder of Equonomics — is coming to Bari.
After stops in Rome and Milan, the event will be hosted at the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Bari in collaboration with the Department of Economics and Finance.
The project addresses gender bias and the gender gap from different perspectives, touching on even less explored aspects with different experts.
At the meeting in Bari, the focus will be on building new leadership to reflect on the changing workforce as more employees and managers are quitting. Leadership, equity and opportunity will be discussed, starting with the analysis of concrete data, to stimulate critical reflection and spread awareness.
The University of Bari will participate in the meeting with Professor Vito Peragine, director of the Department of Economics and Finance, who will open the proceedings, and Professor Antonio Netti, researcher in Business Economics at the University, who will take part in the round table discussion together with sociologist Francesca Coin, TIM managers Federica Romano and Paolo Gentile, colleagues and students.
Equality cannot wait because talent, passion, courage and commitment have no gender. At TIM, we believe this. We focus on a Women Empowerment plan, with concrete initiatives to support the professional growth of women in the company, and we carry out activities aimed at promoting gender equality in society such as Women Plus, the app dedicated to employing women in Italy and the Punti Viola in TIM stores, safe havens for women in dangerous situations.
