To mark International Women's Rights Day, TIM is launching a new information and awareness-raising initiative for Progetto Donna (Woman Project), a project that represents our company's active commitment to spreading the culture of equal opportunities and the professional growth of women in the company.
It is available today on the internal e-learning platform TIM Academy "Diversity & Inclusion: What is the role of women in today's society and why do gender discrimination and stereotypes exist?" the first of the dates of the new podcast series "Inclusion Management". The narrator is Ema Stokholma, writer, painter, radio/TV presenter and influencer, accompanied by Francesca Vecchioni, founder of the non-profit organisation "Diversity Lab", who in this first appointment dialogues with Milly Buonanno, sociologist, expert in gender studies and lecturer at the Sapienza University of Rome.
TIM's Progetto Donna
Progetto Donna (Woman Project), which celebrates its second year today, brings together various initiatives aimed at disseminating information and encouraging the professional and managerial growth of women in TIM.
This is the context for training courses such as The Manifesto of Non-Hostile Communications in collaboration with Parole O_Stili and the training course on gender BIAS, together with the Harvard Implicit Test, individual development plans to improve communication and affirmation skills, the cycle of meetings on role modelling LeadHERship al femminile to provide inspirational examples, Women Power! the opening event of the Gender Gap thematic day during the 2021 edition of 4 Weeks 4 Inclusion.
Progetto Donna also produced the TIM Manifesto to reduce the gender gap and obtained the doubling of compulsory paternity leave to give value to every parental role. In order to provide TIM women under 35 with networking opportunities, a partnership was also launched with Young Women Network.
