Gender equality, including in the workplace, is one of the goals of the 2030 Agenda with which 193 United Nations countries have decided to join forces to build a better and more sustainable future for everyone.
At TIM, we are facing this through Progetto Donna (Woman Project), which is a series of initiatives aimed at empowering women by fostering more strength, self-esteem and awareness among women in the company in order to accelerate their professional and personal growth.
It is in this context that the collaboration with the Young Women Network, a non-profit association dedicated to networking and mentoring and empowering women, has been established. Thanks to this partnership, more than 200 young female colleagues from the TIM Group will have the opportunity to join the association for 12 months and receive qualified support, training in soft skills and building a network of valuable relationships for their future, inside and outside the company.
They can also apply for Inspiring Mentor, a six-month programme where a professional manager volunteers his or her time and expertise to encourage the professional development of a young woman, thus helping to close the gender gap in leadership.
