Developing female talent and overcoming the gender gap are among the objectives the TIM Group pursues as part of its sustainability strategy. These goals are achieved through concrete initiatives and by spreading a culture of equal opportunities, tools that are often recognised in international circles as well.
Just recently, the Group was included in the 2022 edition of the World's Top Female-Friendly Companies 2022, compiled by Forbes in cooperation with the research company Statista.
The Top Female-Friendly Companies were chosen following surveys administered globally in 36 countries to some 85,000 women, with the aim of identifying the top 400 companies that excel in opportunities for career advancement, parental leave, and flexible working arrangements, key tools for correcting gender inequalities. The TIM Group is among the eight Italian companies in the overall 2022 ranking and the only Italian company in the Telecommunication Services, Cable Supplier category.
Progetto Donna (Woman Project)
With the launch of the TIM Manifesto to Reduce the Gender Gap, the company launched Progetto Donna on 8 March 2020, which brings together various initiatives to spread information and encourage the professional and managerial growth of women.
Training courses, individual development plans, role modelling meetings, and dedicated events within the 4 Weeks 4 Inclusion are just some of the levers of Progetto Donna and the Group's commitment to better gender balance and therefore better application of a meritocratic approach.
