Following the success of the first edition of role modelling talks to promote female leadership in companies and overcoming gender barriers and biases, Female LeadHERship continues with two new talks on 8 November and 5 December 2022.
This initiative is part of TIM's Progetto Donna (Woman Project) and a collaborative effort with Valore D, the association of companies, of which TIM has been a supporting member since 2010, which works to foster the employment and promotion of talented women.
The first edition, in which over 3,000 people attended 7 themed talks, was moderated by expert in female leadership and gender gap issues Monica D'Ascenzo, journalist for Il Sole 24 Ore and Alley Oop blog coordinator.
This second edition, again in collaboration with Valore D, is enriched with new insights and methods that came to light after hearing from the participants of the first edition. In fact, outside role models will be side by side with internal figures, providing space for intergenerational exchange and experiences from different working environments and for men and women to discuss equal opportunities.
Journalist and writer Annalisa Monfreda will moderate the two new talks. The first part will be dedicated to the inspirational stories of outside role models, and the second part will be a round table discussion with men and women.
The first talk will be about leadership and will host Francesca Cavallo, author of Storie della buonanotte per bambine ribelli (Bedtime stories for rebellious girls). The second will focus on parenting and feature Francesca Fiore and Sarah Malnerich, a.k.a. Mammadimerda (Shit Mum), an ironic blog they started in 2016 based on an idea they had, which now has over 136,000 followers on Instagram.
The talks are available on demand, in Italian, here.
