Telecom Italia would like to rectify any misunderstanding arising from rumours circulated by some press agencies this afternoon: it has no plans to transfer “thousands of employees” from Rome to Milan. The company, which has offices throughout the country, will, as in the past, limit its action to rationalizing/optimizing its national presence in order to meet the requirements imposed by the market, while at the same time taking into consideration the needs of its own employees.
