Live on Alice Home TV and the Rosso Alice portal the games of the major Serie A TIM teams
Telecom Italia and Lega Basket have signed a 3-year agreement for the acquisition, by Telecom Italia, of the ADSL rights for the Serie A TIM championship (excluding to date Virtus Bologna).
Thanks to this agreement Telecom Italia will transmit live, for the next three seasons, on Alice Home TV, Telecom Italia's TV via internet, and Rosso Alice, Telecom Italia's ADSL portal, the games of the major teams of the Serie A TIM championship (Lottomatica Roma, Eldo Napoli, Pallacanestro Cantù, Climamio Bologna, Montepaschi Siena, Benetton Treviso, Armani Jeans Milano).
Thanks to this agreement, which also includes sponsorship of the entire men’s championship with the TIM brand, the Telecom Italia Group and Lega Basket renew their already consolidated relationship.
On Alice Home TV’s sports channel it will be possible to access live, and in replay, the major teams of the Serie A TIM men’s basketball championship, as well as play–off games on a pay-per-view basis for 2 euro per match (1 euro for replays). Further, included in the basic subscription, Alice Home TV offers fans basketball news and other items of interest in the “Verde Sport” section.
On Rosso Alice’s sports channel (http://www.rossoalice.it/), via PC, it will be possible to watch live the major teams of the men’s Championship by subscribing at the promotional rate of 20 euro before 31 October (24 euro after that date). The cost of single games is 2 euro.
Telecom Italia’s offer also includes other important events like the TIM Cup, the Super Coppa TIM, All Star Games and the Trofeo TIM for a total of approximately 150 games live, which makes Telecom Italia’s basketball coverage one of the most complete and articulated.
The Serie A TIM Basketball Championship will be launched live on Alice Home TV and Rosso Alice on Sunday 8 October at midday with the Pallacanestro Cantù - Benetton Treviso game, and will continue at 6.15 PM with the Climamio Bologna - Whirpool Varese and Armani Jeans Milano - TDShop.it Livorno matches.
The basketball games offered on Rosso Alice’s sports channel can be watched directly on PCs by all Alice ADSL clients, as well as those of any other operator equipped with a broad band connection.
