TELECOM ITALIA – SKY: AGREEMENT TO BROADCAST
ALL SKY CHANNELS ON ALICE HOME TV
Telecom Italia will be able to broadcast over 170 Sky channels
to its customers via its IPTV platform
Telecom Italia and Sky cut a deal to broadcast all Sky channels via Alice Home TV, Telecom Italia’s ADSL TV service.
With this multiyear agreement, besides Sky Premium channels – Sport, Cinema and Calcio – already available on Telecom Italia’s IPTV platform, will be added theme channels of Mondo package, dedicated to entertainment, music, documentaries, news and children programming; as well as SKY offering pay-per-view and interactive services. Further, High Definition content distribution is also expected.
Within October, Telecom Italia will be able to offer over 170 Sky channels to its customers, besides over 100 channels already being broadcast.
