Telecom Italia: legal action to safeguard Company in market abuse legislation

With regard to news agency reports published today following the meeting between Telecom Italia’s Chief Executive Franco Bernabè and unions, and already denied by the Company, Telecom Italia announces that it has mandated its legal advisors to take all actions necessary to safeguard the Company itself and the market in accordance with market abuse legislation.
