Telecom Italia has announced that Ferdinando Beccalli-Falco (President & CEO Europe of GE and CEO GE Germany) today resigned from the Board of Directors (non-executive, independent) of Telecom Italia S.p.A., in the light of new duties conferred upon him at GE group.
Beccalli-Falco's candidature was submitted by the asset management companies together with Directors Francesco Profumo and Luigi Zingales. He was appointed by the Shareholders’ Meeting of 12 April 2011 and elected to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors on 13 April 2011. His profile may be viewed on www.telecomitalia.com.
