Telecom Italia announces that Elio Cosimo Catania today resigned from the office of Director of the Company. In his resignation letter Mr. Catania stated that he took the decision to renounce to his position “so that the Board's activity, at such a complex time for the company, and the work of the investigators could be carried out in an orderly manner, while reaffirming that my actions were always correct”.
Mr. Catania was an independent Director, a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Control and Risk Committee and the Nomination and remuneration committee.
