Telecom Italia and Amazon signed an agreement aimed at giving Amazon Mobile App and Kindle for Android App preloaded on TIM devices to their customers, starting from end of 2013. Thanks to this collaboration, TIM Customers will benefit from the easiest access to mobile shopping, the best reading experience on their TIM devices, one click away from Amazon’s large selection, and unique services. This partnership aims at favoring a better integration of ecommerce and mobile services especially relevant in the Italian market.
This initiative confirms Telecom Italia’s commitment towards the development of mobile commerce, a market that will see a significant growth in the coming years especially thanks to the increased penetration of smartphones and tablets worldwide, as well as providing its customers an easy way to access and enjoy the very best mobile shopping and reading Apps.
The preloaded Amazon Mobile App will allow TIM customers to easily browse and shop for products, compare prices, read reviews and make purchases quickly and easily from wherever they are. With Kindle for Android app TIM customers will benefit of a great reading experience on Android devices, with immediate access to Kindle Store with more than 60,000 Kindle books in Italian and more than 2 million titles in English and other languages.
