TIM has decided to suspend the changes to the pricing of its offer TIM Voce for fixed line residential customers which was due to start from 1 April, in order to guarantee the customers awareness and transparency in the economic conditions of the services and to ensure and facilitate an open, cordial and constructive dialogue with the regulator AGCOM (Italian Communications Authority).
The company wishes to point out that the new TIM Voce pricing would have affected only residential customers with a basic telephone line (billing the subscription cost plus call charges), and not those who already use specific flat rate offers (which include unlimited call and data traffic).
With this decision TIM intends to show its willingness to quickly clarify the issues raised by the regulator on the basic fixed line telephone service, so that it can deliver offers that are increasingly tailored to the needs of its customers.
