For the sixteenth consecutive year TIM is confirmed in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index Europe (DJSI Europe).
The news come as an important recognition of TIM’s social and environmental commitment, of its contribution to technological innovation, as well as of its transparency towards its stakeholders.
Inclusion in the DJSI follows a rigorous assessment by rating agencies that analyse financial and non-financial performances on the basis of general and sector criteria, including the relation with customers and employees, innovation and research activities, risk management, strategies aimed at tackling climate change, supply chain and social/environmental impact of the business.
Appearing in sustainability indeces is particularly appreciated by investors who more and more often also look at non-financial parameters to build their portfolio, due to the fact that sustainable companies bear less risk in the mid-long term compared to companies that do not meet environmental, social and governance requirements.
TIM is also present in other important global sustainability indices and evaluation systems, such as the FTSE4Good and Euronext Vigeo Eiris.
