TIM S.p.A. announces that it has been admitted to the Cooperative Compliance scheme (set out by Legislative Decree 128/2015), according to the guidelines developed on the subject by the OECD.
The Company was admitted after passing the assessment conducted by the Italian Revenues Agency on the Company’s Tax Control Framework, i.e. the system for the identification, management, control and mitigation of tax risk understood as the risk of operating in violation of tax regulations or in conflict with the principles and purposes of the taxation system.
The Cooperative Compliance scheme provides for a new method of constant and preventive dialogue with the Italian Revenues Agency, based on a relationship of transparency and mutual cooperation aimed at reducing the risk of litigation with tax authorities and thus ensuring preventive certainty on tax-related issues.
