The fourth edition of 4 Weeks 4 Inclusion begins this Thursday and will run until 14 November. 4W4I is the biggest event dedicated to inclusion devised by TIM. This year, around 400 partners including businesses, universities, associations and no-profit organisations will come together to promote the values of inclusion and the individual right to diversity.
The event will start with ‘Anatomia dell’inclusione’ (Anatomy of Inclusion), chaired by Monica D’Ascenzo, a journalist at ‘Il Sole 24Ore’, who will present the latest changes to the 2023 edition with representatives from the partner companies. The opening day will feature a welcome speech from Helena Dalli, European Commissioner for Equality, and Alessandra Locatelli, Minister for Disabilities. The main guests include Pietro Labriola, TIM's CEO, Elena Ceccolini, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Operations Manager at Amazon Italia, Camilla Ferrara, Industrial & Energy Technology Europe/SSA Human Resources Director at Baker Hughes, Luciano Sale, HR Director at Fincantieri, Paola Angeletti, Chief Operating Officer at Intesa Sanpaolo.
Throughout the day, participants will listen to speeches on inclusion by Carlotta Bertotti, model and influencer, Valentina Tomirotti, journalist and disability expert-activist, Francesco Murano, influencer on ostomy and disability; Dennis Murano, writer and human resources expert; Sara and Alessia Michielon from Ruote Libere and Dalila Bagnuli, feminist and content creator.
Once again, Ipsos will offer its annual contribution to the event by carrying out research on inclusion within the partner companies. The results will be presented by Nicola Neri (Ipsos CEO) on 12 October, at the opening event of 4W4I.
As part of the event, TIM will lead several initiatives: on 24 October, the event ‘La parità non può aspettare’ (Equality can’t wait) will focus on the importance of this key objective. The event with Pietro Labriola and Azzurra Rinaldi, economist, writer and co-founder of Equonomics, will also mark the launch of the new Women+ App and the collaboration between TIM stores and DonneXStrada, projects that will be described in detail across two dedicated days, on 25 October and 10 November respectively.
The company event on 30 October will see the presentation of the analyses carried out by CENSIS on the subject of loneliness; on the opening day, Work Wide Women will launch “Quanto ne sai di D&I” (How much do you know about D&I?), a game that tests knowledge of Diversity & Inclusion, the results of which will be communicated during the closing event, alongside the meritocracy report by Forum della Meritocrazia, which will offer the ‘Meritorg Check’ to the partner companies to measure how they apply merit.
Over the course of the marathon, there will be three intercompany days dedicated to specific topics:

4 Weeks 4 Inclusion
The 4 Weeks 4 Inclusion (#4W4I) initiative was created by TIM to raise awareness about the issues of inclusion and the development of diversity, thanks to a tightly-packed programme of shared events, webinars, digital labs and creative groups. Each year, guests and speakers switch places for four consecutive weeks, giving a concerted account of stories of inclusion and sharing best practices, models and tools for developing all kinds of diversity from disability, intergenerational debate and contributions from women to sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity and religion. Around 400 partners are taking part in the 2023 edition of 4 Weeks 4 Inclusion.
