TIM solidifies its ties with the world of music, becoming an Institutional Partner of the 75th edition of the Sanremo Italian Song Festival.

TIM will build a bridge with the audience during Festival evenings, creating special opportunities for connection and enjoyment that will breathe new life into iconic songs of yesteryear, as reimagined by the Sanremo orchestra with bespoke arrangements. This exceptional musical occasion promises to captivate everyone at the Ariston Theatre with songs that have not only shaped the history of Italian music but have also “connected” Italians across the nation, much like TIM itself.

 

The ‘TIM AI Data Lab’ will also be operating at Sanremo. TIM’s digital laboratory will use state-of-the-art tools and AI to conduct real-time analyses of social media sentiment by monitoring public interactions, identifying and exploring the most talked-about topics throughout the event.  The ‘TIM AI Data Lab’ will be situated within the TIM store on Via Matteotti, just a stone's throw from the Ariston Theatre. Throughout the week, competing singers will visit the Lab as guests to connect through video calls with the lucky winning customers of the ‘TIM ti regala Sanremo’ competition, while also receiving TIM Lab insights into their social media influence and public image.

 

On the final evening, the ‘TIM La Forza delle Connessioni’ award will be presented to the artist who receives the most votes on the MyTIM app and across the Group's social media channels. The competition, launched on January 31, asks customers to choose their favourite Sanremo performer up until February 15, joining in with the excitement of the Festival experience. The award will be presented on Saturday evening by Pietro Labriola, TIM CEO.

 

TIM is also sponsoring the ‘Fantasanremo Party Night’, a grand celebration set to light up the evening before the Festival, hosting an array of music and entertainment talents at Forte Santa Tecla.

 

Additionally, from tomorrow and throughout the Festival, TIM’s new music-filled advert featuring the teenage sensation Mimì will be on air. With her unmistakable voice, the singer brings a cast of characters to life, weaving them together in a thrilling musical journey made possible by the power of TIM's Ultra 5G. The commercial features the iconic song ‘Figli delle stelle’ by Alan Sorrenti, whose dynamic, captivating and timeless beat perfectly encapsulates TIM’s new identity.
