The ordinary shareholders’ meeting of Infrastrutture Wireless Italiane S.p.A. took place today with Stefano Siragusa in the chair.
In the light of the abstention of the majority shareholder TIM, previously announced during the course of the activities of 27 March last (Shareholders’ Meeting in connection with the financial statements) the meeting did not approve the mutual termination of the assignment as statutory auditors of PricewaterhouseCoopers SpA. The reasons for TIM’s abstention were set out in the press release issued at the time, to which you are referred.
Consequently, no vote was taken on the choice of new auditors, with PricewaterhouseCoopers SpA continuing in the role.
