The book “Gli stratopici segreti… della rete” (The secret ultramice… of the web), published by PIEMME Junior, is part of the Safe Surfing initiative, a project started by Telecom Italia – in collaboration with Save the Children and Fondazione Movimento Bambino (Child movement foundation) and the participation of Atlantvca Entertainment who hold the rights to the Geronimo Stilton brand- last October to raise the awareness of safety procedures for children, teenagers and parents who use the internet. Furthermore a simple illustrated Decalogue of Geronimo Stilton cartoons and a dictionary for the little ones is available at www.navigaresicuri.org, as well as interactive services through which parents can receive free qualified assistance from specialized personnel and psychologists.

Geronimo, editor of the Rodent Echo, is working on an article for the special insert “Safe surfing online”, and is having a lot of trouble. Luckily his sister Tea registered him for the super extra mega intensive safe surfing course held by Professor Doctor Engineer Bit. After a day spent lost in the cyberspace and the internet’s secrets Geronimo will be ready to get back to work with a wealth of new information and photographs essential for his article.
