Now all TIM customers can buy applications from the Nokia Ovi Store with the cost being charged to their bill, if they have a subscription, or to their remaining phone credit for rechargeable solutions. The maximum expense allowed is 15 Euro per single purchase, compared to the previous limit of 2 Euro.
Telecom Italia and Nokia are thus continuing the collaboration started in July and aimed at making purchases from the Finnish company store even easier for TIM customers.
Thanks to this initiative, TIM customers have lots more chances to customise their Nokia Smartphone with more new and updated applications and contents, easy and quick to purchase within a broad price range. This result highlights the importance of simplifying the processes of selection and purchase of contents for customers, who are increasingly oriented to having customised mobile devices.
The Nokia Ovi Store is accessible from over 135 different phones of the Finnish company (including the smartphones sold by TIM such as the Nokia N8, Nokia C7 and Nokia 5230) and offers a very wide range of applications ranging from contents for customising mobile devices with backgrounds and ring-tones to games, videos and podcasts, productivity tools and the web and location-based services.
Over 200,000 new users register with Ovi every day, joining the 165 million users worldwide who are already part of the world of Nokia services.
The cost of the contents is always specified before purchase is made, and the indicated price does not include the costs of the data link, which depend on the tariff plan of each customer.
