TIM launches Legal Walls, the application that allows writers identify the areas in Rome and Milan where they can freely express their talent and creativity. The application, which will soon be expanded to include other cities, allows users to locate the closest areas dedicated to their works of art and will help them identify the quickest way to get to the site with an incorporated map. The app allows users to save their finds in the list of Favourites, which is stored on the application and then recovered without the need for a second research.
Furthermore, it is possible signal the Legal Walls which have not yet been “surveyed” in ones’ own city, inserting them into the App after the web back-office has verified them with the referenced municipalities.
The free application is available on Google Play and will soon also be available through the Apple Store.
The launch of Legal Walls was anticipated last May with a video on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uz0FbjKWPZc) that registered over a million hits.
The short movie, directed by Valerio Masotti, is part of the “Web is mobile”, the first international creative contest launched by TIM to tell the tale of life in the Smartphone era, the era of apps and the mobile network, rallying the creative communities of video makers from round the globe.
With this initiative Telecom Italia aims to aid the municipal authorities in Italy disseminate the culture of legality for street art and all forms of emergent urban art.
