Telecom Italia launches TI Cloud, the online space on the Nuvola Italiana (Italian Cloud) to securely store and save users’ digital files.
Thanks to this innovative service, Telecom Italia customers with an ADSL or Optic Fibre connection can use up to 200 GB of virtual memory to store their own documents (photos, music, videos, etc.) saving encrypted copies online. With a web access, customers will be able to consult and recover their data simply and immediately, making them available anywhere with an internet connection. A dedicated App for Android smartphones will be available soon.
The software installed on the customer’s own PC will also allow them to carry out secure automated backups of one or more selected folders on their personal computer, which can then be recovered even if files on the PC are lost or deleted by mistake.
The subscription to the TI Cloud service will cost 6.90 euros a month, and the first month will be free of charge.
The launch of TI Cloud is supported by an ad broadcast from Sunday 13 January on Italian television channels, directed by Gabriele Muccino and created by SANTO, featuring Mara Maionchi and Nicola Savino.
