A team from Veneto is included among the protagonists of Changemakers, the enterprise acceleration programme promoted by Telecom Italia and Expo Milano 2015 with the ambitious aim of changing the life of 10 million people. The innovative Tooteko project, developed by two young Venetians, is in fact one of the 10 best ideas selected at national level to be developed and transformed into sustainable and innovative potential startups.
The business idea of architect Serena Ruffalo, 36, and Fabio D’Agnano, 39, expert in 3D modelling and fast prototyping, can be used to apply audio tracks to objects, making any surface clickable and interactive: the possible applications of this technology include its use as aid for blind and partially sighted people to provide information on the appearance of objects, as an aid in teaching children to read and write, and to create new devices that replace standard switches to turn lights on and off.
With the other 9 teams selected, the team has started the process to develop their project in the last few days, in a technology campus in Milan where the young talents will live and work together, in close contact, for the two months, with advice from an experienced and select group of experts, professionals, managers and creative people of proven competence as teachers and mentors.
At the end of the acceleration period, the projects will be presented to a panel of potential investors and business partners who can guarantee their realisation.
