Telecom Italia launches the new application “Telefono di Casa” (Home Phone), which transforms smartphones into a “cordless”, by connecting it to the fibre optic fixed line. This way, calls can be made and received from the fixed line, while maintaining all features offered by the mobile network.
The new app, which is free and available in the Android and iOS market stores (Google Play and Apple Store), can be downloaded by each family member and used with the phone number of the line “Ultra Internet Fibre Optic”, thus more easily benefiting from call minutes included in the offer.
The smartphone is connected to the home Wi- Fi network and will continue to operate while preserving the features of a normal mobile phone. In addition, thanks to the exclusive App, it will become a new home phone, from where it will be possible to access the integrated contacts list, listen to voicemail, manage the call log through a simple and intuitive interface that can be seen on the display.
With the new App it will be even easier to benefit from the Ultra Internet Fiber Optic for unlimited Internet up to 30 and 100 Mbit/s. “Ultra Internet Fibre Optic” offers by Telecom Italia for consumer customers are already available in 32 Italian cities starting from 40 Euro per month.
