TIM’s new advert starring Marcell Jacobs, promoting its new generation service that brings high-performing FTTH fibre connection of up to 10 Gigabits per second into Italian homes, airs today.
The Olympic and European 100 meters champion perfectly represents TIM’s leading position, as the first operator in Italy and amongst the first in Europe to make this high-speed, secure and reliable technology available to families in more than 30 cities, with a deployment plan that will enable a growing number of customers to access maximum browsing performance.
The cast also includes two TIM technicians from Rome who took part in making the advert for the communication campaign ‘La Forza delle Connessioni’, which seeks to highlight the importance of connectivity in helping people to overcome distances, to draw together and to find the strength and motivation to accomplish increasingly ambitious projects.
With a soundtrack from Måneskin’s hit ‘Supermodel’, the 30-second advert will be broadcast on major national and digital TV channels. The campaign will also be featured in the national press.

· 21 June 2022 - Federica Pellegrini, world swimming champion, is the new face of the campaign advert dedicated to the launch of the mobile business with the ‘TIM 5G Power’ offer.
· 4 July 2022 - Bobo Vieri and Costanza Caracciolo are the stars of the new advert for TIM’s fibre - ultra-fast, secure and reliable - and the sports content on TimVision, through DAZN with all Serie A TIM matches and Infinity Plus with the Uefa Champions League.
· 7 October 2022 - Marcell Jacobs, Olympic and European 100-meter dash champion, is the new face of the campaign and the first advert is devoted to the speed of TIM’s mobile network.
