‘Peacemaker’, the acclaimed series starring John Cena, created by James Gunn about the DC Comics character of the same name and a spin-off from the film ‘The Suicide Squad’, will be available from tomorrow only on TimVision.
‘Peacemaker’ explores the origins of Christopher Smith, a character played by John Cena for the first time in the 2021 film, a ruthless and irresistibly arrogant man who believes in peace at any cost. The cast also features Danielle Brooks (Adebayo), Freddie Stroma (Vigilante), Jennifer Holland (Harcourt), Steve Agee (Economos), Chukwudi Iwuji (Murn) and Robert Patrick (Auggie Smith).
James Gunn wrote all eight episodes, available from tomorrow on TimVision, and directed five, including the first one. James Gunn, Peter Safran and Matt Miller are executive producers of the series, while John Cena is executive co-producer. Based on DC Comics characters, ‘Peacemaker’ is produced by Gunn’s Troll Court Entertainment and The Safran Company in association with Warner Bros. Television. The series aired in January in the US on HBO Max and has been renewed for a second season.
