The eagerly awaited HBO ‘Love & Death’ event series created by David E. Kelley, starring Elizabeth Olsen, has arrived in Italy and is scheduled to be aired exclusively by TimVision. The series is inspired by the true story of Candy and Pat Montgomery and Betty and Allan Gore – two churchgoing couples enjoying their smalltown Texas life… until an extramarital affair leads somebody to pick up an axe.
In the seven-episode series, Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Candy Montgomery, is joined by Jesse Plemons (Allan Gore), nominated for an Emmy Award in 2024 for his role, Lily Rabe (Betty Gore), Patrick Fugit (Pat Montgomery), Keir Gilchrist (Ron Adams), Elizabeth Marvel (Jackie Ponder), Tom Pelphrey (Don Crowder), Krysten Ritter (Sherry Cleckler).
Love & Death is written and produced by David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, The Undoing) and directed by Lesli Linka Glatter (Mad Men). The executive producers are Glatter, Nicole Kidman and Per Saari through Blossom Films, Scott Brown and Megan Creydt through Texas Monthly, Matthew Tinker, Michael Klick and Helen Verno.
The first four episodes will be available from 27 September, the final three on 4 October.
