‘Apples Never Fall’ arrives in Italy from tomorrow, exclusively on TimVision. The mystery-drama series starring Annette Bening and Sam Neill is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty, author of ‘Big Little Lies’ and ‘Nine Perfect Strangers’.
The series tells the mysterious and dramatic story of the Delaneys, a prominent and highly respected family in the sunny social scene of West Palm Beach, Florida. The disappearance of wife and mother Joy Delaney – with husband Stan emerging as the main suspect – suddenly cracks the image of the perfect family. The four children engaged in the search for the mother have to put together the pieces of a surprising puzzle made up of suspicions and long-held secrets, involving the whole family in a chain of unexpected revelations.
‘Apples Never Fall’, produced by Universal Studios across seven episodes, is directed by Dawn Shadforth and Chris Sweeney (The Tourist), written by Melanie Marnich (The Affair), who is also Showrunner and Executive Producer together with David Heyman (Harry Potter series), Albert Page and Jillian Share. The cast features Annette Bening (American Beauty) and Sam Neill (Jurassic Park series), alongside Alison Brie (Glow), Essie Randles (The Speedway Murders), Jake Lacy (The White Lotus), Conor Merrigan Turner (Thai Cave Rescue) and Georgia Flood (Nautilus).
The first three episodes will be available from tomorrow, with further episodes released every Thursday until the finale on 17 October.
