The ‘Coppa di Campione d’Italia’ (Italian Champion Cup), which this year goes to ‘Serie A TIM’ championship winners Inter, is on display in Milan in the TIM store in Piazza Cordusio until it is presented to the winning Club.
The trophy will be available to fans, the Italian public and tourists who, as well as being able to see it in advance, will have the chance to take selfies with the cup. They will also be able to buy a film to personalise the phone with the photo they just took.
The traditional on-pitch awarding of the Cup to the Italian Champion Club will take place on the occasion of the Inter-Lazio game, the 37th and penultimate day of the championship, with Pietro Labriola, CEO of TIM, and Lorenzo Casini, President of Lega Serie A, in attendance.
The ‘Coppa di Campione d’Italia’ was designed in 1960 by sculptor and medallist Ettore Calvelli and since 2005 has been awarded directly on pitch to the winners of the championship.
