Telsy's ‘Futuring Technology Center’ is now operational. This new ‘Testing Laboratory’ – accredited for the ‘Software and Network’ area by the Italian National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN) – will help to strengthen defence capabilities against cyber threats. Working in line with the ACN's technical specifications and methods, the Center conducts thorough tests on software and hardware products designed for critical national infrastructure and services. Since they are vital for the nation's security, these products must be safeguarded from cyber threats and risks using tailored solutions that have undergone prior security evaluations.
Acting on behalf of the ACN’s National Assessment and Certification Center (CVCN), the Laboratory's work is conducted by a team of highly skilled experts using cutting-edge analysis technologies. Activities include assessing the proper application of product security measures, conducting penetration tests, and analysing firmware to uncover exploitable vulnerabilities, whether known or emerging.
Telsy's ‘Futuring Technology Center’ thus joins the select group of Testing Laboratories chosen by the government agency, supporting efforts to safeguard vital infrastructures within Italy’s National Cyber Security Perimeter (PSNC).
ACN accreditation is testament to the TIM Group's expertise and committed work in this area. Through Telsy – a hub specialising in cryptography, cybersecurity, and cyber resilience under TIM Enterprise – the group aims to boost Italy's security, in line with national and EU guidelines. The recognition therefore marks another step in the Group's ambition to be a trusted ally in the nation's digital transformation.
