For the third year running, TIM is included in the Gender-Equality Index (GEI), the international index Bloomberg uses to measure the performance of over 400 companies listed on 45 countries’ stock markets which are committed to gender equality.
The five pillars used to evaluate the companies are:
· female leadership
· equal pay
· inclusive culture
· anti-sexual harassment policies
· brand positioning as a pro-women company.
The Group — included in the index since 2020 for TIM and since 2021 for TIM Brasil — is ranked among the Gender-Equality Index world leaders, achieving a higher score than last year, above the industry average as well as the average of the companies included in the index.
Another important recognition that testifies to our commitment to inclusion is the UNI ISO 30415 Human Resource Management Diversity and Inclusion certification.
ISO 30415 is an international standard that certifies the existence and quality of inclusive and sustainable corporate pathways in the workplace.
TIM’s diversity and inclusion activities take the form of more than 100 initiatives ranging from an inclusive culture, understood in the broader sense of the term as the 4 Weeks 4 Inclusion, to the Progetto Donna (Woman Project), which calls for actions to bridge the gender gap, to Age Management activities, but also inclusion projects related to disabilities and the LGBTQ+ community in order to make our working environment as inclusive as possible and to allow everyone to fully express their potential.
