For the eighth year running, TIM is in the Top 10 of the Diversity Brand Index - the ranking that measures the ability of brands to develop a culture oriented towards Diversity, Equitity and Inclusion. What made us stand out in the 2025 rankings was our commitment to overcoming the gender gap with #LaParitàNonPuòAspettare and in particular one of the concrete levers that characterizes it: the Women Plus App, which promotes women's inclusion in the world of work and their careers. Women Plus, which has obtained the patronage of the European Community and involves more than 200 partners, has today reached more than 15,000 women, offering them the opportunity to grow and train every day with more than 150 hours of dedicated content. Tools for matching skills and job offers, now over 100,000, are at the heart of the App to which mentoring services and inspirational talks will soon be added.
Inclusion and the valorization of all talents, overcoming obstacles and stereotypes, is not only a necessity for society, but also a powerful growth engine for companies. According to research devised and curated by the Diversity Foundation and Focus Mgmt, which promotes the Diversity Brand Index, inclusion continues to be a decisive driver of choice for consumers - seven out of 10 people choose with conviction brands that speak of inclusion - and just as many would not recommend those perceived as non inclusive - and as a result the revenues of the most virtuous and committed brands rise (+24%). This is despite the fact that there is a polarising effect on the market, also a reflection of the current socio-political context, which leads to a slight increase in the number of people most hostile to diversity (+3.8%).
As one of the first in Italy, in 2009 TIM launched inclusion management activities, because we are convinced that diversity is a value. This is why from 2023 we have decided to act to accelerate the achievement of gender equality with #LaParitàNonPuòAspettare. Not only communication campaigns, commercials, training and empowerment paths for our people and awareness-raising for everyone, but also concrete tools such as the Women + App and the Punti Viola.
