From 25 to 27 September, at the Turin OGR a corner dedicated to the IPCEI CIS project.
From 25 to 27 September, at the TIM Enterprise - Officine Grandi Riparazioni venue, TIM has set up a corner dedicated to the presentation of the TIM Edge & Cloud Continuum project for the Italian Tech Week 2024 audience.
Throughout the event, it was possible to speak with project experts and participate in various information sessions, explaining the benefits and new development possibilities of the European multi-provider edge cloud continuum.
In particular, the focus of the sessions was the Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence platform that is being built through IPCEI, and will be integrated into the Edge & Cloud Continuum solution.
The platform will collect data through continuous monitoring of infrastructure, services and applications, to provide maximum transparency to providers and customers, and the possibility to optimise, through AI techniques, the use of resources, in terms of energy and cost. In addition, it will offer services geared towards correct data governance, to ensure a secure and reliable ecosystem. Lastly, thanks to the development of Federated Learning use cases, it will be possible to train machine learning models in a decentralised manner, without actually transferring data, and preserving their sovereignty and privacy.
