Choosing an educational path that brings out talent, including overcoming patterns and stereotypes that are often associated with STEM subjects, is the first step in building a future and an opportunity for everyone. That is why we promote study programmes that connect technology to work and encourage women to participate. Gender equality starts at school.
In the coming days, ICT Campus in Benevento and ITS Maria Gaetana Agnesi in Rome — both higher technical institutes — will be hosting Open Days, an opportunity to take a deep dive into the study programmes available and visit the spaces where teaching takes place.
4 October is the date to mark in your diary if you are interested in the presentation of the Microservices & Cybersecurity Specialist course at ICT Campus in Benevento. To register for the event — which is also available via streaming — and request information, simply fill in this online form.

TIM's focus on women in STEM is an important part of our Women Empowerment plan.
In addition to being members of the two institutes in Benevento and Rome, there are many activities that we carry out in this area, including participation in special events, such as STEM Girls and WomenHack, the TIM Special Award as part of the Valeria Solesin Prize, and participation in Ingenio al femminile (Genius Women), an initiative that awards a prize to the best thesis among all engineering degree courses on Engineering for People, i.e. sustainability, ecological transition and circular economy.
