TIM, the Title Sponsor of the Italian Grand Prix since 2005, will be in Mugello this weekend for three days packed with events and initiatives for motorbike and Ducati enthusiasts.
The TIM area which will be located alongside the Ducati stands at the Correntaio curve will be featuring #TIMguardavanti, the initiative promoted by TIM and Ducati to prevent road accidents caused by the improper use of mobile phones while driving.
At the TIM area, visitors will have the opportunity to try cutting-edge technology able to measure risk perception and concentration capacity whilst driving; using immersion googles for a 360° virtual reality, experiencing the dangers using a smartphone while driving and trying totems equipped with eye-tracking technology able to monitor eye movement on roads with free-flowing traffic and measure the capacity to maintain a fixed, attentive gaze. A large screen will bring all the contents posted on social networks together with the official hashtags #TIMGuardaAvanti and #guardavanti, #TIMRace and #ForzaDucati
The TIM area will also host a display Showbike Ducati Corse GP15 which visitors will be able to mount for a special photograph. Thanks to the optical illusion of the background, created specifically by the Ducati Team for the event, enthusiasts will feel like they are in the Ducati pits, with the mechanics moving around in preparation for the race.
During the three days of activities, a Scrambler Ducati Classic motorcycle will be showcased in the paddock and various other prizes will be raffled off.
For the 2015 edition of the TIM Italian Grand Prix, the grid girls will be wearing clothes designed in collaboration with Mittelmoda, one of the most famous and well-rated fashion contests worldwide. The collection have been created by the young stylist Francesca Paolin who represents the elegance of true Made in Italy style on the track and podium. Also on the podium, TIM will be awarding the winning riders of the three classes a trophy dedicated to the Mugello circuit.
