Smart Modem Sercomm

The new Smart Modem manufactured by Sercomm, which is included in TIM's ultra broadband service offers, exhibits significant eco-efficiency features:

during its yearly life cycle, the product consumes up to 19% less energy as compared to the challenging targets set in the EU Code of Conduct for broadband equipment, with a significant reduction of GHG emissions;
the shell is manufactured using 100% recyclable non-halogenated plastics;
thanks to the application of eco-design rules, disassembly time has been reduced significantly, thus making end-of-life management easier;
the packaging is made of non-plasticized, 100% recyclable cardboard.
